According to a report of the top 10 Asian countries with the most sugar daddies, Malaysia prevails at third place.
A survey by the world's largest sugar dating site, SeekingArrangement, has revealed that there are 42,500 sugar daddies in Malaysia.
According to their report of the top 10 Asian countries with the most sugar daddies, Malaysia prevails at third place.
India came out on top of the list with 338,000 sugar daddies. Meanwhile, Indonesia takes second place with 60,250 sugar daddies.
"Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia all trail closely behind boasting momentous numbers that make up for the top ten Asian countries with the most sugar daddies," the report stated
There are 32,500 sugar daddies in Japan, 28,600 in Hong Kong, 27,300 in Taiwan, 12,000 in Vietnam, 7,000 in South Korea, 5,000 in Sri Lanka, and 3,000 in Cambodia.
SeekingArrangement attributes the vast number of sugar daddies in a particular country to the economic inequality and believes that the throng of sugar daddies in these parts of Asia could be an attempt to bridge the gap between poverty and healthier income brackets.
The survey cited an analysis on the Knight Frank Wealth Report archive and linked the number of sugar daddies in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and India on the list to the fact that they are considered to be nations with the most billionaires in the world.

SeekingArrangement CEO Brandon Wade said the gap between Asia's wealthy and poor has swelled alarmingly in the last two decades, pushing more women to seek older men for various reasons
"A platform like SeekingArrangement helps connect young and empowered women with wealthier, more affluent men who not only bolster their financial woes but act as a mentor or gateway in catapulting a promising future for these sugar babies," he said in a statement.
Furthermore, he noted that Asian economies are rapidly growing and attracting many foreign investors to set up businesses in the region.
"Thus, it is really no shocker why Asia seems to be a hotbed for sugar dating, especially among the urban demographics."
