In the video, she is seen in tears after opening the plastic bag and finding the puppy panting and gasping for air with a rope around its neck

Panicking, she wrote that she immediately rushed to get it water to drink while she untied the rope. Despite being abandoned, the puppy did not even try to escape immediately and just sat there panting, she added.

Heartbroken by the whole incident, Aqilah decided to bring the dog to a workshop she works at.

In follow-up TikToks, she shared that when she returned to see how it was doing several hours later, the puppy could recognise her and it looked healthier and stronger.

In the videos, the puppy is seen wagging its tail, even rolling over with its belly up, while playing with her.
