Zahid Hamidi Warns More BN Politicians Will Face Corruption Charges If Party Loses GE15
"If we lose, our fate will be worse than the GE14," the UMNO president said, adding that apart from him, other BN politicians would also be charged in court, including Tok Mat, Vigneswaran, Saravanan, Wee Ka Siong, and Hishammuddin.
UMNO president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has warned the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition politicians that they will face a fate far worse than the 14th general election (GE14) if BN loses GE15
"GE15 is the mother of all general elections in our country. If we cannot win, our fate will be worse than GE14. It's not just me who will be charged," Zahid said while pointing at BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, who is more popularly known as Tok Mat, that he's next to be charged with corruption.
"Tok Mat, you're on the waiting list."
This prompted laughter from the crowd as well as MIC president Tan Sri Vigneswaran Sanasee, who was sitting on the podium with Tok Mat and MCA president Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong.
Zahid then cautioned Vigneswaran, M Saravanan, and the MCA president.
"Tan Seri Vicky, don't laugh, you are also included (in the list to be charged with corruption), (even) Datuk Seri Saravanan, (and) Ka Siong, they won't forget you. You will be charged as well," Zahid remarked, to further laughter from his UMNO colleague, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, on the podium.
"Hisham, you don't smile (they won't spare you, either)."

Zahid claimed that he and others in the BN coalition were charged in the court of public opinion but that the truth would eventually prevail
According to the UMNO president, BN is not challenging the judicial system but is fighting against charges that are "politically motivated" and "selective prosecution" being conducted by vindictive people.
He goes on to claim that BN, however, will not do the same if the coalition wins GE15.
"Politics and victory [are] not about [being] vindictive, it's not about taking revenge [against] other people, taking revenge [against] your rival — especially your political rival," Zahid said to thunderous applause, adding that never in its history did BN take revenge against its political rivals.
Zahid, who was recently freed of all 40 charges of receiving bribes for the foreign visa system (VLN) contract, is facing another 47 charges of criminal breach of trust, graft, and money laundering.
