Nur Dhabitah Starts Strong But Finishes 12th In The Olympic Women's 3M Springboard Final

National diver Nur Dhabitah Sabri placed 12th in the women's 3m springboard final at the 2024 Paris Olympics tonight, 9 August
She finished last out of 12 divers competing in the final, with a final score of 244.80. She started strong with her first two dives but made small errors in her third and fourth.
China's Chen Yiwen took home gold with a final score of 376, while Australia's Maddison Keeney earned silver with 343.10, and Chen's teammate, Chang Yani, secured bronze with 318.75.
According to Bernama, Nur Dhabitah came into the Paris Olympics with less preparation compared to her rivals, after qualifying on a country quota not used by others.

Nonetheless, the 25-year-old still delivered her best performance, earning a spot in the finals
Nur Dhabitah advanced to the finals after passing the preliminary round and finishing eighth with a total score of 286.95 in the semi-finals at the Olympics Aquatics Centre in Paris.
In Tokyo 2020, Nur Dhabitah had finished in fourth place in the same discipline.
