A team of Orang Asli students from Pahang have emerged champions in the Primary School Robotics Innovation category (ages 10–13) at the 26th International Robot Olympiad 2024/2025, held in South Korea

This remarkable achievement by the trio from SK Permatang Keledang, Pekan — Matthew Jambai Karong, Fizrey Rovince Ronachai, and Hafiezie Azwanizizi — was celebrated by the Pekan District Education Office (PPD) and Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail on social media.

PPD Pekan said this success not only showcases the talent and capabilities of the students, but also highlights the dedication and commitment of their teachers in honing their skills in science and technology.

"This accomplishment is a tremendous source of pride, bringing honour to the school and the country on the international stage," the district education office said.

He added, "May this success inspire the younger generation to continue innovating and bring pride to the state and the nation. Congratulations to the students, teachers, and the school. We are so proud of you."
