Called Back To School, Apple has an initiative that provides qualified purchasers a discount on selected Apple devices, which includes the iMac, iPad, AirPods, and Apple Pencil.

The discounts are often significant. For instance, you can get the 13-inch MacBook Air with a new M2 chip for RM470 cheaper if you're a uni student or teacher.

On top of the usual discount, the Back To School Initiative is offering Apple customers additional freebies for a limited time

From now until 2 October 2023, the Back To School initiative is offering a free pair of AirPods with selected MacBooks or a free Apple Pencil on selected iPads. On top of that, users will also get to save on the Magic Keyboard and get 20% off AppleCare Protection Plan.

You can check out the full list of eligible products as well as their discounted prices here.

The offer also extends to Apple's music subscription service, Apple Music

Uni students and education staff who subscribe to Apple Music throughout the promotional period will be entitled to a discounted rate of RM8.90 per month.

To qualify for these benefits, you need to verify your student or staff status on UNiDAYS.
