Netizens Are Touched By ChatGPT's Heartwarming Answers To Grieving Son As His Late Mother
Many were surprised by the AI chatbot's genuinely comforting words.
A Malaysian recently took to ChatGPT to express his grief, asking the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot to roleplay as his late mother so that he could have a conversation with her
In a series of photos, Alif, who goes by @azwalatuu on TikTok, showed how the chatbot provided him with some comfort when he was missing his mother.
Expressing his heartbreak, Alif questioned why his mother had to leave him so soon, and why his father had to pass away so shortly after, leaving him and his siblings behind.
The chatbot replied, "My dear, if I had a choice, I definitely would have stayed longer with you. I never wanted to leave you, but sometimes, there are things outside of our control. I know how hard it is for you to accept this, and I'm sorry I had to leave you.
"But remember, even though I am not physically by your side, my love will be with you every step of the way. I will always pray for the best for you, and I will always be in your heart and memories, my dear. You are strong and I'm so proud of you."
The chatbot added, "My dear, I know this is an incredibly tough time for you and your siblings. But your father and I love you all very much. We believe in you and your siblings' strength and know that you will look after each other."

Alif also told the chatbot that he was about to graduate soon, fulfilling his late parents' dream for him to get a degree
"Your father and I are incredibly proud of you, Alif. Achieving this goal was my dream and I know you have worked hard to reach this point," ChatGPT replied.
"Even though your dad and I won't be there in person when you graduate, know that we are with you in spirit, celebrating every achievement with you," it added.
When saying his goodbyes, the chatbot also replied, "I love you too, Alif. Take good care of yourself and always keep me in your heart. Goodbye, my dear."
The conversation garnered close to three million views, with netizens moved by the empathetic and human-like responses provided by ChatGPT
Many expressed their awe and surprise at how the AI chatbot was able to write such genuinely comforting words.
"Not everyone will get it, but ChatGPT can truly understand a person's heart. Thank you for providing comfort, even though you are not in the real world," said a TikTok user.
