Elon Musk Launches His Own AI Chatbot Called 'Grok' That Will Pull Info From X

Elon Musk has unveiled a competitor to ChatGPT, and its name is Grok
According to the billionaire, Grok has a "rebellious" streak and a sarcastic sense of humour.
Musk, who purchased Twitter in 2022 and renamed it to X this year, said Grok is trained with real-time information from the platform.
Grok is launched under Musk's AI startup, xAI
In a blog post, Musk said that Grok is inspired by The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
The comedy sci-fi novel by British author Douglas Adams has had a huge impact on the billionaire tech entrepreneur.
Taking to X, Musk said that Grok "loves sarcasm"
"Grok is designed to answer questions with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak, so please don't use it if you hate humour!" xAI's blog post reads.
Grok will soon be available to X's Premium+ subscribers
The AI bot is currently in the early stages of testing.
There is no timeline for its rollout yet, but it's expected to be released in the very near future.
