A former Google employee is sharing the interview question that stumps most candidates applying for a job at the tech giant

The woman, who says she previously worked for Google, Wix, and Rocket Money as a Chief People Officer, shared the video on TikTok under the username @hrbitch.

The question is apparently meant to test the applicants' quick thinking and creativity.

So, what's the one question that makes applicants think?

There's a coffee shop in San Francisco. It has unlimited supply and demand — meaning it has all the coffee beans, coffee cups, teas in the world... and the customer line wraps around the block. The coffee shop is roughly 500 sq ft.

So, how many cups of coffee can this coffee shop produce in one day?

Social media users filled the comments section with their answers to the tricky question

Some commenters tried to do the math based on the given information, with various final answers given.

While some jokingly gave up immediately with comments such as, "Well, guess I'll never get a job at Google."

In a follow up video, the TikTok creator shared the answer to the question

She revealed that there is no right or wrong answer, and the purpose of the question is to see how the applicant handles ambiguous questions, their thought process, and their ability to think outside the box.

So, how did you do? Did you get the job?
