Hacker Group R00TK1T Issues Threat Against Malaysia's Digital Infrastructure

The R00TK1T group, highly skilled in cyber intrusions, targets governments and private sectors globally.
They have now indicated a cybersecurity attack against Malaysia.
R00TK1T group did not specify the reason for targeting Malaysia
On their official Telegram channel, the R00TK1T group has declared, '"The countdown to chaos has begun",,' and warned Malaysia to '"prepare for the storm that will leave you shattered and vulnerable"'.

The R00TK1T group recently targeted Lebanon's digital infrastructure
They were also implicated in a data breach at cosmetic giant L'Oréal, where sensitive information may have been compromised.
iZoologic, a security solutions provider, has confirmed that the threat was posted on a dark web platform, possibly simultaneously with the message on Telegram.
