After the popular demand of the NFC Touch 'n Go cards, it seems like the company is taking it up a notch this year with the release of their new numberless Visa cards

Dubbed the Touch 'n Go Visa Prepaid Card, this new card from Touch 'n Go was initially announced in 2021 through a partnership with Visa. According to lowyat.NET, this partnership allows Touch 'n Go to tap into Visa's vast list of global partners and affiliates.

To clarify, a numberless Visa card means there are no 16-digit number or security code (CVV) on the card, instead, cardholders can access these details directly through the Touch 'n Go eWallet app.

Aside from boasting extra security with its numberless feature, it also packs other perks

These perks are just about everything you might expect from a Visa card, which include a competitive exchange rate for overseas use, cash withdrawal capabilities at ATMs, and using the card for online shopping as well.

And you can even apply for it now directly from the Touch 'n Go eWallet app. Here's how:

1. Make sure your Touch 'n Go eWallet app is updated to the latest version, then select 'Visa Card' on the homepage

2. Tap on 'Get Card Now'

3. Type in how you'd like your name to be displayed on the card

4. Double check all your details and click 'Pay Card' to confirm your purchase

You'll only need to pay a RM5 delivery fee!

It'll take around seven to 10 working days for the physical card to be delivered to your doorstep, but you'll be able to see the card number, security number (CVV), and expiry date by tapping on 'Card Details'.

At the moment, there aren't any renewal or application fees, but this may be subject to change in the future

Last week, Touch 'n Go warned users against buying NFC Touch 'n Go cards from unofficial channels:
