To activate the feature, follow the steps below:
1. Snap a picture of the symbols
2. Go to your gallery app and tap on the photo
3. Wait for the info icon below to change
4. Tap on the icon for more information

This Apple-exclusive feature is actually called Visual Look Up and is available on other devices such as the iPad
According to Apple, Visual Look Up is available on iPhones running iOS 15 or later.
It's also available for iPad users running iPadOS 15.1 or later, as well as older iPads. Visual Look Up is available for iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) or later, iPad Pro 11-inch (all models), iPad Air (3rd generation) or later, iPad (8th generation) or later, or iPad mini (5th generation) or later.
For Android users, they can use Google Lens to achieve similar results.
