Samsung Is Hosting Their Galaxy Unpacked In South Korea For The First Time In 24 Years

Galaxy Unpacked, which is a biannual event held by Samsung Electronics to showcase new smartphones, tablets, and wearables will be held at Seoul, South Korea for the first time ever this year

Specifically in COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam. This location happens to be the intersection between Teheran-ro, a hub for domestic innovative startups and Bogeunsa, a millenial Buddhist temple. 

According to Samsung, this unique location captures a captivating blend of the past, present, and future of Seoul.

Since Samsung had its first Galaxy Unpacked in Los Angeles in 2010, the company has unveiled groundbreaking innovations and set new directions for the mobile industry every year since

The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked in Seoul will be their 27th iteration of the renowned event.

This was done because they want to focus on the capital city's role in influencing global trends with its dynamic culture and innovation, with a strong focus on their foldable devices for this year.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will be held sometime in July

By hosting the event in Seoul this year, Samsung hopes to push boundaries and shape the course of technology through their products. 

In 2022, the Korean market showed a significant 13.6% adoption rate for foldable smartphones, further cementing mainstream adoption in global markets.
