Xiaomi 13T Series Arrives in Malaysia, Bringing Leica Photography to the Masses

Classic look-and-feel photos at your fingertips.

The Xiaomi 13T series is the latest addition to Xiaomi's smartphone lineup. Building on the success of the Xiaomi 13 series, it brings the best photography features of its predecessor at a more attractive price point

The Xiaomi 13T is priced at RM1,799 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. While the Xiaomi 13T Pro starts at RM2,499 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Both of the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro share similar features, such as a new Leica camera setup with two original Leica-tuned photographic styles, a custom photographic styles function that allows users to shoot their own distinctive look, as well as a triple camera system.

The triple camera system provides a truly flexible range of focal lengths. The 50MP wide angle camera will be your go-to for most situations. The 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom is ideal for close-ups and portraits. Finally, the 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera is perfect for capturing stunning architectural photos and landscapes. 

In terms of video, the Xiaomi 13T Pro shoots up to 8K with 10-bit LOG 4:2:0 H.265 video recording for never-before-seen detail in a smartphone

Although the Xiaomi 13T does not support 8K video recording, it is still capable of shooting 4K video with HDR10+ support at 30fps.

On the bright side, the 50-megapixel wide-angle camera for both models have optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS), which work together to keep your videos smooth and steady even when you're moving around.

It also has a high brightness mode of up to 1,200nits and a peak brightness of up to 2,600nits, 100% DCI-P3 coverage with 68 billion colours, and HDR10+ support.

In short, the Xiaomi 13T Pro has a stunning display that is perfect for watching videos, playing games, and even browsing the web.

One of the key features that separates the Xiaomi 13T Pro from the 13T is its lightning-fast charging capabilities. The 13T Pro supports 120W charging, which allows it to achieve a full charge in an impressive 19 minutes.

However, the 13T's charging is no slouch either. With a respectable 67W charging, the 13T can achieve a full charge in just 42 minutes.

The Xiaomi 13T series is not only powerful and versatile, but also stylish and elegant. It is available in three color options: Alpine Blue, Meadow Green, and Black

The Alpine Blue model has a soft-textured vegan leather back panel for a premium look and feel. The glossy Meadow Green and Black models have a smooth glass back panel that is just as luxurious.

Both the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro are also IP68 rated, meaning they are resistant to water and dust. So there is peace of mind knowing that your phone can withstand accidental splashes and spills.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro comes with three storage variants, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, with a starting price of RM2,499. Whereas, the Xiaomi 13T will come with two storage variants, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, with a starting price of RM1,799.

Both smartphones will be available for purchase at Authorized Xiaomi Stores and other official retailers in Malaysia, and at official Xiaomi stores on Lazada and Shopee.
