Everything You Need To Know About The First Ever Pokémon UNITE Tournament In M'sia
The partnership between The Pokémon Company and Malaysian Telco brand, Yoodo made this all happen.
Yoodo, Malaysia’s first truly customisable and 100% digital mobile service, is paving the way through their partnership with The Pokémon Company
They announced on 19 July that they're officially partnering with The Pokémon Company to bring even bigger opportunities to Pokémon UNITE players in Malaysia.
The partnership between the Malaysian telco company and The Pokémon Company was done to further cement its positioning as the leading E-sports provider in the Malaysian telco industry.
Previously, they partnered with several games such as PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends. So, Pokémon UNITE will be the next entry into that lineup.
To kickstart their partnership — Yoodo announced that they will be holding the first official Pokémon UNITE tournament in Malaysia

That's right, Pokémon UNITE players in Malaysia can rejoice at the fact that Yoodo will be hosting the first Pokémon UNITE Malaysia Open slated for 2022 - with an awesome prize pool of USD20,000 (RM88,980) up for grabs!
Registrations for the tournament will be opening up real soon. Starting from 27 July to 30 August 2022. Furthermore, the grand finals are expected to be held on 10 September.
So those who have played and enjoyed the game, here's your chance to gather up a team for a chance to win the attractive prize rewards!
In addition to the launch of the tournament, Yoodo also revealed that it will be introducing the Pokémon UNITE data Add-On, slated for launch in August 2022
Yoodo has provided gaming Add-Ons for numerous gaming partners previously, allowing players to game whenever they want with extra data.
However, as of now — details regarding the Add-On has not been specified.
