A secondary school in Banting, Selangor, was thrown into chaos earlier today, 6 July, after a female student allegedly stabbed a schoolmate
Kuala Langat district police chief Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi confirmed the incident, saying the victim is in stable condition.
"Yes, I confirm the incident and will issue a statement soon. The victim is in stable condition," he was quoted as saying by Utusan Malaysia.
According to FMT, videos that have since gone viral on social media show students running in panic across the school compound as a teenage girl, believed to be a student, dressed in black, is seen walking around while holding what appears to be a knife.

They have also not disclosed details about the suspect or the motive behind the incident.
However, social media posts have claimed the suspect is a former student who was expelled from the school and allegedly returned seeking revenge.
Police have not yet verified these claims.
