The Klang River Festival (KRF) is back, and it's already in full swing along a 1.8km stretch of the Klang River near Old Klang Road in Kuala Lumpur

Running from 26 September to 5 October 2025, the festival has transformed the riverbanks into a corridor of art, performances, food, and community stories.
Best of all, admission is free.
Organised by KongsiKL, with property developer Exsim as its key sponsor, the festival also features events at partner venues like REXKL and Taylor's University Lakeside campus.
Here's what you can still catch at Klang River Festival 2025:
Spot the giant bamboo crocodile installation by the riverside
If you haven't seen it yet, the Nada Buaya: River Guardian Pavilion is one of the highlights.
This towering bamboo structure draws from river folklore and looks amazing at sunset when the light hits just right.
Nearby, you'll also find FlowScape, a looping riverside playscape where you can sit, climb, or just take in the view of the water flowing past.

Here are some activities you can still join before the festival ends
- Klang River Feels (Guided Walk by KRF)
A morning walk that lets you experience the Klang River up close - Exhibition by KRF (Various Contributors)
A showcase of installations and artworks inspired by the river - Klang River Documentary (Screening by KRF)
Films and features exploring the stories of the river - KRF2024 Book Launch & Sharing
A special sharing on the making of the book by Faith Foo

The Klang River Market also brought local food, eco-friendly crafts, and handmade goods to the festival
