Dayang Nurfaizah Returns With A Bang On 'Calpis Soda One In A Million' Stage

Dayang Nurfaizah made a triumphant return to the Calpis Soda One In A Million stage in the second week, dazzling audiences with two of her iconic hits, Hakikat Cinta and Lemah
After 15 years away from the prestigious stage, Dayang’s powerful performance left the crowd in awe, while also offering valuable support and encouragement to the Top 14 contestants during the episode that aired last Sunday, 29 December.
Despite her vast experience, Dayang admitted to feeling nervous each time she steps onto the OIAM stage.
"Even now, I still get nervous when performing here, especially in front of such talented singers. My message to the contestants is this: I understand if you feel anxious, but when you're on stage, just sing, enjoy the moment, and give it your all. Treat every performance as if it’s your last," she shared.
Dayang also highlighted the importance of mental preparation, particularly in today's social media-driven world
"I understand that the pressure they face is much higher now, especially with comments from netizens. It's best to ignore the negativity and focus on past performances to identify areas for improvement.
"Seeking feedback is fine, but excessive opinions can disrupt your focus, especially with the competition happening every week. I truly understand how difficult it is to maintain mental strength in such a situation," she said.

The second week of CSOIAM ended on a somber note as four young talents — Trio XL, Dhania, Erfarina, and Aniq Iffat — were eliminated
Despite delivering stellar performances, they faced fierce competition from other equally talented contestants. Their dedication and talent were widely praised, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep them in the running.
The standout performer of the week was Jimi, who earned the title of the most 'Fizz' contestant after his energetic rendition of Di Penjara Janji. His vocal strength and raw emotion impressed both the judges and the audience. Jimi’s victory also earned him the opportunity to duet with renowned singer, songwriter, and composer Aina Abdul in the next round, adding a fresh dynamic to his performance.
The competition continues with the remaining 10 contestants: Rezza Shah, Mariam, Alya Mardien, Kai Deva, Zazzleen, Marygrace, Jimi, Dayangku Iffah, Hafiz Zainal, and Eylia Guntabid
Next week’s theme, Rasa Paling Indah, promises a lively and joyful musical showcase. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favourite contestants, with 40% of the vote coming from the public and 60% from the professional judges.
