Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket (TCG Pocket) has surpassed 60 million downloads and generated a staggering USD180 million (RM812 million) in revenue within just six weeks of its release
Released on 30 October 2024, the app is shaping up to be one of the most successful mobile games ever.
The app was developed by Creatures Inc., a studio under The Pokémon Company.
TCG Pocket recreates the magic of opening booster packs and collecting cards that first captivated players in the late '90s.

According to AFP, citing analyst Sam Aune from Sensor Tower, the app can be touted as one of the most successful mobile game apps.
"Pokémon TCG Pocket has delivered one of the strongest performances of any mobile game to date," Aune said.
Only 2016's Pokémon Go outpaced it, earning over USD200 million (RM902 million) in its first month.
