Disney+ Hotstar To Increase Price For Its 3-Month Subscription Plan From 24 April
The current quarterly plan costs RM54.90.

Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia has just announced a new pricing structure for its subscribers, which will come into effect on 24 April
Under the new pricing plan, you'll be given the option to choose between two subscription plans: the Disney+ Hotstar Basic Plan or the Disney+ Hotstar Premium Plan.
Here are the pricing details:
- Disney+ Hotstar Annual Basic Plan: RM214.90
- Disney+ Hotstar Monthly Basic Plan: RM24.90
- Disney+ Hotstar Annual Premium Plan: RM289.90
- Disney+ Hotstar Monthly Premium Plan: RM39.90
- Disney+ Hotstar Quarterly Premium Plan: RM79.90
To provide a comparison, the current Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia quarterly plan costs RM54.90.
What's the difference between the Basic Plan and Premium Plan?
Besides pricing, features such as concurrent streaming, the number of device logins, and video quality will also be different.
However, you will still have access to watch all Disney+ Hotstar titles and download selected content for both plans.
All existing subscribers will see a price change in their billing period on or after 24 April
All users will transition to the Disney+ Hotstar Premium Quarterly Plan.
If you subscribed through a third party, billing and account management, including cancellations, may vary and will be handled directly by the third party.
