Did You Know: Jackie Chan Voiced Li Shang In The Chinese & Cantonese Dub For 'Mulan'

He even sang 'I'll Make a Man Out of You' in both dialects!

Over 20 years ago, Disney gifted us with one of the most epic training montages in cinematic history when Captain Li Shang attempted to make a man out of a bunch of weak-a** recruits in Mulan

To this day, the iconic I'll Make a Man Out of You never fails to get us pumped up for just about anything - workouts, getting out of bed, powering through the last few workdays of the week... you name it. 

While there's no doubt that all of us are familiar and probably know every word to the English version, did you know that there's a Chinese version of the song as well?

In fact, it's sung by none other than the legendary Jackie Chan:

The veteran actor and martial arts master also provided Li Shang's voice in the Mainland standard Chinese, Taiwanese Chinese, and Cantonese versions of the movie

Jurassic World and Mr Robot actor BD Wong voiced Li Shang in the original version, with Donny Osmond providing the singing voice.
