Catch An Intimate Performance By The Award-Winning KL City Opera This June From RM100
From iconic opera scenes to rare gems and excerpts, you'll be treated to a spectacular evening of opera performances.
KL City Opera, Malaysia's only Western opera and BOH Cameronian award-winning company, is presenting a spectacular evening of operatic music and drama from 9 to 11 June
Called Opera Gala Spectacular, the production promises you an evening to remember.
From The Flower Duet, The Pearfisher Duet, and Casta Diva, to Bellini's Norma, Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles, Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, and more, opera lovers will be treated to iconic and rare opera pieces, some of which are said to have never been performed in Malaysia before.
With many beautiful, challenging, and all-time favourite pieces in the repertoire, opera-goers can no doubt expect to be swept off their feet
Opera Gala Spectacular is a celebration of the power and passion of operatic music.
In addition, to get opera lovers excited for what the opera house has in-store for the future, KL City Opera will be giving you a glimpse into their upcoming operas, L'Elisir d'amore, which is slated for October 2023, Don Giovanni in 2024, and La Bohème in 2025.
Conducted by the renowned conductor and Artistic Director of Wayfarer Sinfonietta — Lien Boon Hua — the opera showcase will present a stellar lineup of local performers, accompanied by the KL City Opera Orchestra and KL City Opera Chorus
They include sopranos Cecilia Yap, Ho Chi Mei, Tan Sin Sim, and Evelyn Toh; mezzo-soprano Lim Yee Fen; tenors Heo Yueh Ren and Tan Chee Shen; baritones Wilson Loh, James Long, Joseph Ng; and bass-baritone, Chi Hoe Mak.

Ticket prices:
- Category 1 (VIP): RM160
- Category 2 (Platinum): RM140
- Category 3 (Gold): RM120
- Category 4 (Obstructed): RM100
