Ever wanted to be part of the coolest club ever? Well, come join the geng at Club Mickey Mouse, hosted by a group of fun Malaysian teens with vibrant personalities!

Synopsis:
Hang out at Club Mickey Mouse, which features games, music, comedy, skits, and celebrity guests, all of which are hosted by your favourite seven Mousketeers.

2. Terlerai Noktah (Release date: 26 August)

Directed by famed director Amor Rizan, this psychological thriller is bound to keep you at the edge of your seats. Starring Nabila Huda, an actress who has bagged many awards at local film festivals, this series will definitely get you hooked!

Synopsis:
Jasmine, a new nurse at Dr Ruki's psychiatric hospital, strives to solve riddles that arise with the admission of a new patient, Hani.

3. Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal (Release date: 20 August)

Did you know that Upin & Ipin is currently Malaysia's longest-running animated series? Yessss, the series is now in its 13th year of producing new episodes. To add on, over the years, Les' Copaque Production has also released numerous movies from the popular series, including their latest – Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal. What's great is that the movie is also dubbed in English!

Synopsis:
One day, five-year-old twins Upin and Ipin and their friends discover the mystical Keris Siamang Tunggal, which ends up opening a portal and transporting them to an unknown magical land. While trying to find their way back home, the group of kids meet characters from local myths and legends, and are forced to help restore the crumbling kingdom.

4. Anak Sena (Release date: 26 August)

Looking for a heartwarming show that'll tug at your heartstrings? Anak Sena, aired on TV3, is a show that touches on the ups and downs of the Orang Asli community in Malaysia.

Synopsis:
This show revolves around the sacrifice of a teacher, Cikgu Amir, in educating the children of the Orang Asli community. Cikgu Amir meets Wadi, a young Orang Asli student who is very gifted in sports. This series follows the determination and perseverance of Cikgu Amir in helping Wadi unearth his talent.

1. Guang

If you're looking for a local heartfelt film that will give you a roller coaster of emotions, you should totally check out Guang. It's a Malaysian film that received positive reviews from critics, and was subsequently released in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan!

Did you know Guang bagged four awards out of nine nominations in the Malaysian Film Festival in 2019? And this was before the film was even released in cinemas, wahhh. :O 

Synopsis:
Guang tells the story of Wen Guang, an autistic young man who gets distracted easily and struggles to socialise with people other than Didi, his younger brother. As Wen Guang searches for a job, he secretly pursues his newfound quest – collecting glassware – much to Didi's dismay. Little do the brothers know that Wen Guang's quest will end up changing their lives.

2. Munafik

Bored at home with nothing truly exciting to watch? How about catching local supernatural horror film, Munafik, that will send icy chills down your spine? :p

Released in 2016, Munafik has since grossed over RM17 million worldwide, making it the best-selling Malaysian film in 2016. Additionally, the film outstandingly grabbed numerous accolades, including Best National Language Film, Best Actress, and Best Director, from different award ceremonies. As one of Malaysia's biggest blockbusters, you confirm don't wanna miss out on this iconic horror film on Disney+ Hotstar!

Synopsis:
Adam, a medical practitioner, struggles to accept that his late wife is no longer around. While grappling with the loss of his wife, he solemnly agrees to treat a depressed patient, not realising that strange occurrences and tragedies are about to ensue.

Synopsis:
This movie shows the lovable Grandpa and his New York-born granddaughter, Sarah, reuniting when she returns to Malaysia for the summer. While spending time with him, Sarah notices that Grandpa is showing signs of severe memory loss, which forces the family to prepare for a life with dementia.

4. Ejen Ali The Movie: Mission Neo

Did you know that the first episode of Ejen Ali actually aired in 2016? So long ago, right? Over the years, the series has become a popular show among Malaysians, which led to its very first movie in 2019. What's more mind-blowing is that the movie grossed over RM30 million in the box office, making it the highest grossing Malaysian animated film of all time. :O

Its commercial success and positive ratings led to WAU Animation Studios already beginning their plans for a sequel. Ahhh, we can't wait lah. Until then, you can first catch the blockbuster on Disney+ Hotstar.

Synopsis:
Embracing his new role as a spy under Meta Advance Tactical Agency (MATA), Ali works hard to protect Cyberaya from external threats. But he soon discovers that MATA has been testing the Infinity Retinal Intelligent System (IRIS) gadgets for all agents, making him doubt his new role.

Did you know that the crew experienced some disturbances while filming this movie? According to actor Zahril Adzim, he said that there was an entity on set, and he even saw this entity appear behind the crew, eek!

Synopsis: 
Alif, a budding content creator, challenges his friends to plan a birthday celebration in an abandoned house. The house is rumoured to be previously occupied by a Japanese general, who tortured and murdered countless people. Will Alif and his friends make it out of the spooky house alive?

1. Talentime

Talentime marked renowned Malaysian film director Yasmin Ahmad's last movie before her passing in 2009. The musical film is a story full of joy and pain, hope and despair, and it carries a range of beautiful local songs. Additionally, it stars a multiracial cast, from Adibah Noor to Jaclyn Victor, Pamela Chong, and more. There are also numerous scenes in the film that are reminiscent of the country's historical events, so watch it to see if you can put two and two together!

Synopsis:
A secondary school teacher, Cikgu Adibah, decides to organise a talent search competition, which sees two talents – Melur, an Eurasian girl, and Mahesh, a hearing-impaired Indian boy – unexpectedly falling for each other. Meanwhile, Hafiz, who is also one of the talents, struggles to find the time to balance his studies, the talent competition, and caring for his sick mother. What could the outcome of the competition possibly be?

2. Vedigundu Pasangge

Upon its release, Vedigundu Passangge earned over RM1 million, making it the highest-grossing Malaysian Tamil language film of all time.  The film also bagged numerous accolades and nominations in several award ceremonies, including the 30th Malaysian Film Award, the Cinefest Malaysian Awards 2019, and the Barcelona Planet Film Festival.

Synopsis

A village boy named Theva ends up in a twisted situation, which causes him to realise that everything around him is a giant mystery. Due to his naive behaviour, he ends up becoming a bait to Boss, who uses him for the wrong agenda.

Synopsis: 
After being released from prison, Malek decides to stay away from life as a gangster. As an ex-convict, Malek discovers that it's not easy to leave his past behind as he is constantly stigmatised by the public. One day, the King, who is the leader of the most influential secret society in Kuala Lumpur, visits Malek to recruit him as one of his own. Meanwhile, Jai, who is Malek's brother, does plenty of dirty and illegal criminal work for the King's stepchild, Shark, who hates Malek to the core. Entangled in the criminal world, the two brothers are eventually forced to betray each other.

Synopsis:

The D'Cruz family runs a Peranakan kopitiam called Little Nyonyum, located in Kuala Lumpur. Follow the adventures of the family, as they find themselves in fun and heartwarming situations, while dealing with their friends, school, kopitiam, and magic.
