SHINee Joins Girls' Generation In F1 Grand Prix's K-Pop Extravaganza

The two K-pop idol groups will be accompanied by Korean DJ Hitchhiker as well as several local artistes in the F1 after-race concert at Sepang's Helipad.

11 MAR: Girls' Generation a.k.a. SNSD, one of K-pop's hottest groups is all geared up to take on the post-race stage at the Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix this 29 March!

This will be the girls' second time here after their Malaysian debut at 2012's Twin Towers Live concert

American rock star Lenny Kravitz was previously slated to perform at the after-race concert before pulling out due to scheduling conflicts

Kravitz said, “Unfortunately, due to contractual scheduling conflicts beyond my control I will not be able to come to Kuala Lumpur to perform. I have been looking forward to coming to play for my fans and I’m deeply sorry that my concert had to be cancelled. My ability to come play for you all is a huge concern to me and I'm looking forward to rescheduling so I can perform for you as soon as possible.”

The post-race concert, which will take place at the Helipad in the Sepang International Circuit, is scheduled to begin at 5.30pm

Gates to the concert venue will open at 4.30pm. The main act will take the stage at 5.30pm, with the concert expected to end around 8.00pm.

Gaining entry into the concert costs from only RM80 onwards... and that includes getting to watch the F1 Grand Prix race as well as other F1-related stuff thrown in!
