Due to overwhelming demand, South Korean indie rock band wave to earth is returning to Malaysia

After selling out their first show earlier this year, which led to a second added show date in March, the band is back for their Play With Earth 0.03 World Tour.

They will be performing at Mega Star Arena, Sungai Wang Plaza, on 19 January 2025.

As part of the Asia leg of their tour, wave to earth will also perform in:

  • Tokyo, 21 January
  • Hong Kong, 5 February
  • Taipei, 7 February
  • Bangkok, 9 February
  • Singapore, 11 February

Known for their unique blend of indie pop, lo-fi jazz drumming, and dreamy atmospheres, wave to earth has quickly become one of the most exciting indie rock bands to emerge from South Korea in recent years

Based in Seoul, the three-member band consists of singer-songwriter Daniel Kim, drummer Dong Kyu Shin, and bassist John Cha.

Since debuting in 2019 with the single wave and releasing EPs wave 0.01 and summer flows 0.02, they've gained international recognition. Their first full-length album, 0.1 flaws and all, released in April 2023, included the chart-topping track bad, which reached #1 on Spotify's Viral 50 – Global.

Their latest album, Play With Earth 0.03, showcases their growth as musicians while staying true to their indie rock roots.
