There's An Important 'Avengers: Endgame' Clue That's Only Visible In The Instagram Trailer

It could be the key to helping the Avengers unlock time travel through the Quantum Realm.

Like a drop of water in a barren desert, Marvel Studios sent fans into a frenzy last week when it dropped a brand new trailer for Avengers: Endgame a.k.a. the most anticipated cinematic event of our time

How much of a frenzy, you ask?

Enough for the reportedly final Avengers: Endgame trailer to clock a whoppin' 268 MILLION VIEWS in 24 hours on YouTube, second only to its first trailer, which was viewed 289 million times in 24 hours.

A 30-second TV spot was also released for the Super Bowl last month.

Eagle-eyed fans are no doubt combing through each and every second of the trailers for clues, but there is one significant detail that most of us probably missed... especially if you did not watch the trailer on Instagram

Hint: It has to do with Scott Lang a.k.a. Ant-Man.

Did you manage to spot it? If you haven't, direct your attention to the scene where Scott Lang is looking at a bunch of Missing Persons posters in front of an abandoned house.

Now look closely at his right hand - Scott appears to be holding onto a handle, and right before it flashes to the next scene, looks like he's pivoting and pulling a luggage bag-like item.

Those who've seen Ant-Man and the Wasp may recognise the retractable handle as one that was used to transport Dr. Hank Pym's shrunken Mobile Laboratory

Also doubling as a research facility for the creator of Pym Particles, the lab was where Dr. Pym and Hope van Dyne built a Quantum Tunnel to retrieve Janet van Dyne.

In a post-credits scene of AMATW, the Pyms / van Dynes were on the roof of the building preparing to send Scott into a portable Quantum Tunnel built into a van.

WHY IT'S SIGNIFICANT: A prevailing theory suggests that Avengers: Endgame is likely to involve time travel via "time vortexes" in the Quantum Realm, and Dr. Pym's lab may just be the key to unlock that potential.

While the first trailer shows Scott bringing the portable Quantum Tunnel to the Avengers compound, this newly-discovered detail suggests that he might also have brought Pym's entire lab and research on the Quantum Realm for Tony Stark and Bruce Banner to look into.

Pym's research on the Quantum Realm may also have inspired the Avengers' matching red-and-white Quantum Suits

FUN FACT: The Instagram version of the trailer also shows Steve Rogers leading the team as Captain America again, as evident by the shield strapped to his left arm (not seen in the ultra-wide version).

Well, looks like we'll just have to wait until 24 April to find out! 'Til then, here are the rest of the trailers released so far to tide you over:
