"Glitch In The Matrix"— Bird Seen Floating In The Sky In Singapore For More Than A Minute

An unusual phenomenon of a bird floating in the sky has been recently caught on camera
Nicole, who goes by @nicolelinjc on TikTok, shared a video on 7 August of a bird, which appears to be floating with its wings wide open, mid-air in Singapore.
Confused by the strange sight, Nicole zooms in on the bird, as it looks around while staying suspended in the same spot for more than a minute
Jokes aside, others shared their own possible explanation, suggesting that the bird was flying at the same speed as the wind
This isn't the first time birds have been spotted floating in the air
A motionless bird was spotted hovering in Surrey, Canada in February earlier this year.
Avian ecologist, Kaeli Swift, from the University of Washington believed the bird was dead, and that it was not fake or a prank.
"That's just a pretty, pretty wild optical illusion," she tells Glacier Media. "[I] felt bad for this bird that it got tangled up in some way that has resulted in this, in its demise."
However, it is unclear if this particular bird in Singapore was also tangled up in a similar way.
