Flying in style isn't just for humans — Spotty, a Swiss Dalmatian, has proven that dogs can live the high life too

This four-year-old pup took a 5.5-hour flight from Singapore to Tokyo in Singapore Airlines Business Class, and she did it with total poise and grace.

In a viral Instagram reel on 9 February, Spotty's owner shared the heartwarming details of her well-mannered flight.

Spotty, a registered service dog, was a perfect passenger, sitting calmly throughout the flight. No mid-air meltdowns, no puppy tantrums — just a wagging tail and the occasional nap. She's a total pro!

The journey began in the airport lounge, where Spotty looked right at home, before continuing on to her relaxed flight

She didn't have any water until an hour before landing and didn't even ask for breakfast, proving just how well-trained she is.

Her owner was fully prepared with pee pads in case of any emergencies, but Spotty was cool as a cucumber, eating normally once they landed in Tokyo.

Her calm demeanour captured the attention of millions online, with her video hitting over 5.4 million views

Many praised Spotty for being such a well-behaved dog.

Spotty's flight wasn't just a one-off

As a registered service dog, she was allowed to fly in the cabin, following Singapore Airlines' policy. The airline only permits fully vaccinated, government vet-certified, registered service dogs on board.

As of April 2023, emotional support dogs no longer meet the criteria for in-cabin travel with Singapore Airlines.
