Mahathir Casually Cycling 11km In 45 Minutes Is Proof That He's Fitter Than Most Of Us
94 years young!
Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who turned 94 years old last month, continues to prove that age is nothing but a number
While many people spend their weekend mornings sleeping in, the oldest leader in the world is too busy for a few extra hours of snoozing.
How else can he have the energy to run the country without allocating time for an exercise regime?
On Saturday, 17 August, Mahathir enjoyed his morning cycling 10.8km around Putrajaya and Cyberjaya
"Thank God, it feels refreshing and vibrant," a post on his official Facebook page read.
In a YouTube video, the smiling nonagenarian can be seen zipping past photographers ahead of his entourage
A spokesperson from the Prime Minister's Office revealed that the nonagenarian completed the trip in 45 minutes, Malaysiakini reported.
According to the video's description, Mahathir cycles during his free time to keep healthy.
Impressed netizens took to the comments section of the post to wish the "sturdy" prime minister good health and a long life
