Malaysian Parents Bring 7-Year-Old Son To Jewellery Store To Buy Teachers' Day Bracelets

Today is Teachers' Day, 16 May.
To celebrate the special day, a pair of Malaysian parents took their seven-year-old son to a jewellery shop to purchase some gifts for his teachers.
In a TikTok video posted yesterday, 15 May, Nurashikin Din showed her husband taking their son to Habib Jewels.
Three sales assistants can be seen attending to their needs, carefully packing 10 pieces of jewellery into pink ribboned boxes.
Nurashikin revealed in the comment section that the gifts are bracelets, which her son plans to present to his teachers during a celebration at school today.
At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 2.5 million views on TikTok
Many netizens lauded the parents for teaching their child to show appreciation for his teachers.
Some netizens, identified as teachers, also shared treasured memories of their students giving them gifts.
"I'm a teacher... I received a minyak angin (medicated oil) roll-on. [The parent] said I must have felt dizzy bearing the responsibility of taking care of their child. That was cute," read a top comment.
"I remember there was a student who was the last person [to give me a present]. They whispered, 'Teacher, I couldn't afford to give you anything, I only have a piece of drawing.' I felt so touched in that moment," wrote another teacher.
