The third session of the 14th Parliament finally convened yesterday, 26 July, the first time since the proclamation of Emergency earlier this year

Not only was the first day of the Parliament sitting filled with yelling from all sides of the political spectrum, but we also witnessed the Dewan Rakyat Speaker losing his temper.

With possibly millions of Malaysians tuning in from home, watching the Parliament sitting yesterday was not just to keep up with the political developments of the nation — it was also an outlet to look for the next meme.

Thanks to fellow Malaysians' creativity and humour, social media was inundated with many memes and hilarious responses after the Parliament sitting ended.
