People Are Calling For Najib's Resignation By Spamming His Facebook Page

Wow, that's a lot of 'Copy-Paste' action involved.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you would've heard about PM Najib Razak's rather shocking cabinet reshuffle that saw Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin being kicked out of the deputy PM's seat in favour of Home Minister Dato' Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi

Sometime after the official announcement was made, an official statement justifying his decision was posted on Najib's Facebook page

This new Cabinet ensures that the Government has the strength and unity to focus on my development plans for Malaysia,...

Soon enough, FB users began flooding the comment thread with walls and walls of text, all saying the same thing over and over again - #NajibLetakJawatan (Najib Resign). Seriously, at least 90% of the 40,000+ comments are just... that!

Some of Najib's supporters tried - the keyword being "tried" - to counter the negativity with the hashtag #WeSupportYouNajibRazak but... well, you guys are going against a rising tide here. We actually had to use the 'Find' function to look for these:

Anyway, that's not the only post that is swarming with the #NajibLetakJawatan hashtags. The rest of his FB page shows that his other posts, regardless of subject matter, are being spammed too! For instance, his condolence message to former Indian president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's loved ones...

... This "good luck" message to our national athletes...

... And even this photo post of Najib's birthday cakes. C'mon you guys. Give the man a break. ;)

So... if you have some time on your hands, feel free to scroll through Najib's Facebook page. It's like a never-ending digital scroll of hashtags!

I don't know about you but I can watch this forever, it's so hypnotic.
