Nearly a month after it was first released in the US, Pokémon GO is finally available for download in Malaysia. Ready to catch 'em all?

Malaysia is among 15 new countries announced on Saturday

Other countries and regions include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.

The game can be downloaded on both the iOS app store and the Android Play store.

The game has taken the world by storm since its launch in early July. However, it's not without its share of controversy. Even before it was launched, Penang Mufti wanted the game to be declared 'haram', and the IGP had said that police will monitor Pokémon GO.
