Passing through a toll plaza using a Touch 'N Go card shouldn't be too difficult but some of us do face some problems sometimes
It's not as easy as it seems.
Remember the times when you had to open your car door because you couldn't reach the card reader even after you've rolled down the window all the way?
But we, Malaysians, are a creative bunch. Some of us have found creative ways to go around it.
From using wooden spatulas...
... to using fly swatters!
Over the last few years, some creative road drivers have opted to stick or attach their Touch 'N Go card on one of these tools so that they can easily reach out to the card reader without much effort.
It's a nifty life hack that has proved to be very useful for those who struggle to reach the card reader at the toll plaza.
It may sound funny and ridiculous to use something like a fly swatter, but it is actually a very practical method that has been tried and tested by quite a number of people.
Some of you might remember watching this viral video of a woman using a fly swatter to reach the card reader earlier this year
Someone must have thought that it is a good idea to come up with special sticks that look a lot like fly swatters but designed to hold a card, as they are now available in the market!
We've seen these sticks on Facebook groups, and other online marketplaces such as Carousell and Shopee.
We also found out that some of these sticks in the market are extendable - just like the selfie stick!
