Analogue Apotik is giving its solid colognes a very Malaysian makeover for Hari Kebangsaan this year
The local fragrance brand has teamed up with tattoo artist Lynda from Pink Tattoos on a limited-edition collection featuring 69 unique hand-engraved designs, with nods to everything from curry puffs and satay to durians, local wildlife, and the country's different states.

You'll find designs inspired by curry puffs, satay, ikat tepi, durian, as well as different Malaysian states and their specialties.
There are also several Malaysian animals in the collection, including the orangutan, tapir, tiger, bayau, and hornbill.
If the 69 designs aren't personal enough, you can also add up to four characters to your case
The engraving is done by Lynda herself, making the solid cologne feel more like a little keepsake than just something you carry around for its fragrance.
The cologne comes in a 10g die-cast metal case and uses an alcohol-free wax base, so there's no sting when you apply it.
It contains a 40% fragrance oil concentration, and its compact size makes it easy to throw into your bag or pocket and bring along wherever you go.

The 69 Merdeka Limited Edition Solid Colognes are priced at RM249 each.
Some designs have already sold out, so if you have your eye on one, you'll want to grab it before it's gone.
