Saddle up gamers, because Mountain Dew and PUBG Mobile have teamed up to create The PUBG Mobile Dew Challenge, the BIGGEST amateur PUBG Mobile tournament in Malaysia and Singapore!
It's time for you to fuel up and unleash your gaming talents to compete for your share of RM200,000 worth of prizes. Winner winner chicken dinner!!!
The first 2,048 teams to join this challenge will battle it out in the Qualifiers stage
There are a total of three stages:
Stage 1
- Qualifiers (128 groups of 16 teams, from 22 December 2020 - 15 January 2021)
Stage 2
- Semifinals Phase 1 (32 groups of 16 teams, from 19 - 26 January 2021)
- Semifinals Phase 2 (4 groups of 16 teams, from 27 - 28 January 2021)
Stage 3
- Grand Finals (16 teams, on 29 January 2021)
Hurry, you and your team have to register by 8 January 2021 before it's too late!
Here's how to register for the e-tournament:
1. Buy a Mountain Dew X PUBG Mobile Limited Edition 400ml drink. Once you've downed this citrus-flavoured carbonated drink, don't throw away the bottle cap! There's a code printed there, so add it to your inventory first kay ;)
2. Head on over to the Dew Challenge website and register your squad. This is where you'll need to type in the code on the bottle cap. You can have up to 4-5 players on your team, so choose your teammates wisely! They could be the key in securing your victory.
3. Once you've submitted your application, wait for an official invite. Till then, prepare for battle, troops!
On top of winning RM100,000 in first place, you will also be invited to train with the Geek Fam PUBG Mobile team :O
Here are the cash prizes:
Champions - RM100,000 + 1-week bootcamp with Geek Fam PUBG Mobile team
2nd place - RM50,000
3rd place - RM29,000
4th - 10th place - RM3,000 per team
These cash prizes are up for grabs for the top 10 teams of the #DewChallenge :D
FYI, the Grand Finale will be broadcasted live if you're unable to join or prefer to be a backseat gamer :P
