There's A Farm In Cameron Highlands That Lets You Feed Fluffy Sheep For Less Than RM8
The 'floofs' came here all the way from Australia.
Malaysians will no longer have to travel all the way to New Zealand to see cute sheep
Nestled within Cameron Highlands is a small farm that is home to 20 fluffy and incredibly adorable sheep!
Having opened in 2019, The Sheep Sanctuary in Brinchang has gained quite a bit of attention on social media for its friendly flock.
Speaking to SAYS, the farm mentioned that the sheep on their site came all the way from Australia.
On the farm, you can feed the fluffballs, take selfies with them, and pet them – but be gentle, of course!
Sheep are timid animals so you don't wanna smother them with too much love or carry them in an improper way.
The farm shears the animals' fleece once a year and if you're lucky, you just might be able to watch it happen
However, they revealed to SAYS that they haven't done anything with the fleece because there's currently no market for it and are still thinking of ways they can put it to use.
While you're on the farm, don't forget to stop by Puku Cafe located on the site, to try their homemade strawberry ice cream
A couple of reviews say that the strawberry ice cream is rich and tasty.
Even if you're not a strawberry fan, there are other flavours available. According to reviews, each stick is sold at around RM5 to RM6.
You can also get a cup of coffee, tea, or a strawberry/chocolate milkshake at the kiosk.
Do note that there's an entrance fee to the farm that comes with a packet of feed. The rates are as follows:
Adult (12 years old and above): RM8
Children (3 to 12 years old): RM5
The Sheep Sanctuary is located at Kea Farm Market behind Kea Valley Hotel in Brinchang
It is open daily from 9am to 5.30pm.
