If you're looking for a cosy venture and a unique experience, this Airbnb hits just the right spot!
Situated in a tranquil corner of Cameron Highlands is A'moss Farmstay, which has three relatively new dome-shaped rooms overlooking a tea plantation and farm
Several types of plants including vegetables, strawberries, blueberries, and loganberries are organically farmed here, which guests can purchase during their stay.
Enjoy the cool weather and wake up to a beautiful sunrise or spend a quiet evening taking in the mountainous landscape
One reviewer notes that the scenery is breathtaking, regardless of whether it is morning or night.
Although the weather was perfect for her, she wrote that some might find it on the colder side. So, be sure to pack a sweater!
Each dome costs about RM200 to RM220 to stay per night and comes with different sleeping facilities
The first and second domes have one queen bed and a hammock, while the third dome has two bunk beds.
According to Airbnb, central heating is available in all of the rooms.
Also, take note that food is not allowed in the rooms and must be eaten on the terrace.
A couple of reviewers mentioned that flies were an issue because of that but the overall stay was still comfortable and the view was amazing.
There is a fully equipped private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries located right outside each dome.
Depending on the season, you can also visit Mossy Forest, Gunung Irau - which is a less than 20-minute drive from the Airbnb
The host can arrange a tour of Cameron Highland's "mystical" mossy forest.
However, it may be closed during monsoon season so do check in with them before booking.
