Can't Go To Japan? This New 'Muji-Like' Resort In Genting Is The Perfect Staycation
Each room has a private outdoor jacuzzi.
A resort has just opened in Genting Highlands providing a Japanese-inspired setting for a peaceful escape
Whether you can't afford to visit Japan yet or just need a staycation desperately, Kireina Genting Villa is one place you'd wanna consider for your next holiday.
Decked in bamboo fencing and wooden furnishings, the villa's goal is to have its guests as relaxed as possible while they enjoy crisp air and immerse themselves in nature.
From tatami bed frames and aromatherapy diffusers, to chabudai (short-legged tables used in traditional Japanese homes) and sliding wooden cupboard doors, every detail of the resort matches the minimalistic Japanese vibe.
There are two types of rooms: a suite, which fits two guests, and a villa, which can fit four guests.
Each room comes with its own private jacuzzi on an outdoor patio that's surrounded with greenery.
The rooms also come with free WiFi, hot showers, television sets, bathroom amenities, as well as complimentary water, coffee, and tea.
According to its website, the suite costs RM600 per night, while the villa is RM750 per night.
There's also an outdoor play area for kids, a cinema area, and a café, which opens from 8am to 8pm.
Meals are available throughout the day. If it's particularly chilly, you can enjoy barbecues and steamboats at their dining area.
The resort offers Western and Japanese cuisines, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Other activities in the area include the Genting Premium Outlets, which is located around 5.5km away. You can also head up to Genting Highlands Theme Park and shopping area, which is about 12.7km from the resort.
