Single and ready to mingle? Finland might just have an interesting dinner date planned for you.
Finland, which has been named the world's happiest country, is inviting singles from around the world to take part in a special culinary adventure this February.
Through its Finnish Dinner Date experience, 16 selected participants will receive an all-expenses-paid, four-day trip to Finland, complete with a hosted itinerary of activities and dining experiences.
Taking place between 9 and 19 February 2027, the experience will culminate in a group dinner date, where participants can enjoy good food, explore Finnish culture, and hopefully make meaningful connections
The final dinner date will take place in either the Helsinki region or Lakeland.
Here's how to apply for the Finnish Dinner Date
First, you'll need to answer one question: "What would you serve on a dinner date, and why?"
Here's what you need to do:
1. Create a video in English sharing your answer to the question.
2. Post the video on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube using the hashtag #FinnishDinnerDate and tag the organisers.
3. Complete the application form at FinnishDinnerDate.com and include a direct link to your video.
If you're posting on Instagram or TikTok, make sure your account is public so the organisers can view your entry.
Prefer to keep things more private? You can also upload your video to YouTube as an Unlisted video and submit the link through the application form. This means only people with the link can view it.
Do note that you must complete both the social media challenge and application form to be considered.

Applications close on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, at 11.59am Finnish time (EET, UTC+2)
For Malaysians, that's 5.59pm on Tuesday, 10 November 2026.
Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Also, submitting the application form means you've applied for a spot, but does not guarantee selection. The organisers will not send a separate email confirmation after you submit the form.
For more information, including the full terms and conditions, visit FinnishDinnerDate.com or check out the official application terms.
Who knows? Your answer to one dinner-date question could land you a four-day adventure in Finland!
