You might head to 99 Speedmart for last-minute snacks, household essentials, or a quick grocery top-up
But sarting this August, you can also shop for home appliances while you're there.
99 Speedmart has announced a new partnership with home appliance brand Midea, bringing a range of small household appliances to its outlets across Malaysia.
The collaboration will see selected Midea products stocked at more than 3,100 99 Speedmart outlets nationwide, making it easier for customers to buy everyday appliances closer to home
Among the products that will be available are:
– Blenders
– Electric kettles
– Rice cookers
– Table and stand fans
– Desktop circulation fans
– Bread toasters
– Toaster ovens
– Stick vacuums
– Stainless steel gas stoves
According to Midea Malaysia managing director Mark Tam, the partnership allows the company to reach more neighbourhoods by tapping into one of Malaysia's largest retail networks.
He said the move complements Midea's existing brand stores and authorised dealers while giving customers more convenient places to browse and purchase its latest home appliances.
Meanwhile, 99 Speedmart founder and CEO Lee Thiam Wah said the collaboration marks an important step as the convenience store chain expands beyond its traditional grocery offerings.
He added that the partnership reflects the company's aim to better serve Malaysians' everyday needs by making quality home appliances more accessible through its nationwide network.
