Langkawi ranked an overall fourth for Best Islands in Asia, while three hotels from the island were also among the top 20 Best Resorts in Asia

The publication affirmed that all winners were independently selected by their readers, thereby adding context to the quality of champions crowned for each category.

Ranking fourth of the Top Islands in Asia list, Langkawi narrowly missed out on a top three placing, holding a 90.97 score.

The islands that placed ahead of Langkawi included Koh Samui in Thailand (92.13), Bali in Indonesia (93.9) and Boracay in the Philippines, which claimed the spot for best island in Asia for 2022 (95.13).
