Miss Grand is a beauty pageant franchise based in Thailand and the National Costume Competition took place yesterday, 24 March.
While all of the contestants wore beautiful outfits inspired by their vibrant homelands, Miss Grand Indonesia caught people's attention with her satay dress.
Aurra shared the juicy details of her fabulous getup on Instagram
The mastermind behind the design and concept of the costume was a team from the famous Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC).
In her post, Aurra wrote that the chicken satay is meant to represent Indonesia's rich food culture and its popularity throughout the country.

Stepping on stage, she strutted confidently while imitating hawkers in Indonesia with the signature red-and-white satay seller shirt and a fan in her hand.
Her skirt appeared to be a grill and she cheekily 'cooked' the perfectly lined skewers on it.
Then, she stopped in her tracks at turned around before revealing that under the skirt, the design was that of a plate of satay, complete with condiments such as raw onions and cucumbers.

Netizens absolutely adored costume.
A Twitter user uploaded photos of Aurra in the dress and garnered over 20,300 likes.

Winners of the Miss Grand International National Costume Competition are determined by number of votes
The official pageant Facebook page wrote that each 'like' for every photo is equal to one point. Meanwhile, each 'share' equals two points.
They added that voting is open from 11pm on 24 March until 8am on 26 March.
