When it comes to celebrating special occasions where drinks are involved, most of us will agree that beer is a popular choice

In collaboration with Carlsberg, we asked Malaysians to walk down memory lane and share their most memorable moments featuring the brew. Here's what they said:
1. "We always host house parties to celebrate each other's life milestones"
"Me and my uni friends were party animals. From the first time we hosted our BYOB house parties, we knew we had a special bunch, 'cause we all coincidentally brought the same drink — Carlsberg! I guess the perfectly balanced taste says it all for everyone.
"Ever since then, most of our group has stayed close, and we still meet up to celebrate each other's milestones, be it engagements, promotions, or birthdays. But, instead of eating out, we do it the way we used to — house party style with Carlsberg!"

2. "We hit the dance floor each time the old gang is back together"
"Since my girlies and I are scattered around due to work locations, it's rare for us to be at the same place, at the same time. But, whenever we are, we will make sure to gather at our usual party spot — the club!
"Even though we are usually the oldest ones around these days, we will still order a bucket of beer, just like old times. By the time we're halfway through the night, we'll somehow end up on the dance floor, vibing and singing along, as if we still have the same energy from our younger days!"

3. "Catching up over beers outdoors is a family tradition"
"Every year, without fail, our family will purchase two to three crates of Carlsberg beer for our family gatherings. As we only get to see each other a few times a year, we all look forward to our family tradition of having a drinking session in the garden while we catch up on each other's lives.
"We'll start cheering whenever we hear the sound of a beer cap pop off a Carlsberg Smooth Draught. It's almost like music to our ears. And, we don't even need a bottle opener 'cause the cap pops off with ease."

"Celebrating small wins in life is better when you have people to do with it. Thankfully, I've found a super close circle of friends to make every moment the best it can be.
"Usually, we like to get away for a weekend together. It's always these times I treasure the most, even if we're just chilling to a movie or reaching for a bottle of cold, refreshing beer."

5. "A hard day at work always ends with me and my friends hitting a bar"
"After a challenging day, I like to wind down by grabbing a drink. Normally, I'll head to my regular bar and catch up with my friends over a Carlsberg.
"The bartender always serves it to me in this beautiful Carlsberg stem glass with a nucleated bass that generates bubbles, which also helps to retain the foam and aroma for a truly enjoyable night ahead."

6. "Late nights in the office often turn into spontaneous karaoke sessions"
"My colleagues and I work in a consulting firm, which means there's hardly any work-life balance for us. But once in a while, instead of going home, we hit the karaoke room late at night!
"And every karaoke sesh is not complete if there's no Carlsberg beer involved, hehe. Everyone loosens up and we get to just be carefree by singing our hearts out."
