Local VFX artist, Sofyank, just dropped a teaser clip of him working with a couple of celebrities

He posted a video showcasing his signature VFX artistry with caricature drawings of the two celebrities, saying that he will be flying off to Australia the next day to shoot content with them. He asked his followers to make guesses as to who the celebrities were.

"InsyaAllah, tomorrow I will be going to Australia to shoot (a) video with these two guys. Can you guess who they are?" he wrote in his caption.

On 31 January, he revealed the collaboration to be with Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd and Jonathan Majors.

Mohamad Sofian, better known as Sofyank, is popular for his "magic" effects content that is similar to those made by his idol, Zach King

The "magic" effects artist has collaborated with Zach King himself in multiple videos, and has even earned the title "Malaysian Zach King". In 2019, he worked on a short teaser with award-winning actor Will Smith for his film, Gemini Man. This collaboration has since skyrocketed Sofyank's popularity among Malaysians, catching the attention of YB Syed Saddiq to push for more recognition of young talents in the media industry.

Sofyank also once shared his beginnings into the world of VFX editing, stating that he started off by only using his sister's laptop webcam and learning through YouTube tutorials at cyber cafes.

Now, over 10 years later, Sofyank has built his reputation as an Internet celebrity in the world of digital art, working with more international celebrities and taking his talent to even greater heights.

He was one of the five nominees in the Influencer Meletop Syok category in the Anugerah MeleTOP Era 2020, and one of four in the Favourite Content Creator category for the Gempak Most Wanted Awards 2022.
