This All-New HSBC TravelOne Credit Card Gives You Extra Freedom To Travel The World
Redeem reward points for your next holiday trip anytime, anywhere!
Calling all travel enthusiasts! :D
If you're looking for greater flexibility and convenience, HSBC Malaysia is launching a new HSBC TravelOne Credit Card.
The HSBC TravelOne Credit Card is the first credit card in Malaysia to offer instant reward redemption on a wide range of airline miles and hotel points via the HSBC mobile banking app.
It is also the first credit card in Malaysia to feature a blind notch, which signals users the correct end to insert into card readers and ATMs. The tactile solution allows customers to correctly orient their card while using it and showcases HSBC Bank's commitment to inclusivity.
The HSBC TravelOne Credit Card is breaking new ground with various card features
The HSBC TravelOne Credit Card allows you to:
- Redeem instantly* with a wide range of airline and hotel partners around the world and make donations that will go towards sustainability (e.g. donate to plant a tree).
- Earn accelerated points* on all your foreign currency spend, local travel, and dining spend to fast track your next trip.
- Gain travel benefits with 6x international airport lounge access collectively for you and your supplementary cardholder.
- Travel securely with complimentary travel insurance upon registration of up to USD250,000 for you and your family when you charge the full cost of your air ticket to your HSBC TravelOne Credit Card.
- Enjoy a variety of travel privileges such as Agoda and more when you plan your trip.
*Terms and conditions for HSBC TravelOne Credit Card Programme, HSBC TravelOne Rewards Programme, and HSBC Plaza Premium Lounge for TravelOne Programme apply.
What's cool is that there's no minimum air miles required for you to start redeeming rewards — you can redeem from as little as one air mile, woah!
For example, if you have 42,000 expiring air miles and you plan to use it to book a flight, but the flight costs 15 miles more than that, HSBC Malaysia allows you to redeem exactly the miles you need, instead of having to use up a minimum of 1,000 miles.
Don't worry about having to redeem (and waste) thousands of miles unnecessarily. Since you can redeem rewards to the exact miles, you'll be getting more bang for your buck!
This credit card also doubles down on security and protection to ease your mind
The HSBC TravelOne Credit Card comes with Mastercard ID Theft Protection | Priceless Specials, which helps to keep your personal information secure. As long as you have this credit card, you'll get to enjoy this special benefit, valid until 31 December 2025.
Self-Service ID Theft Resolution Kit provides immediate alerts of suspicious activity from the web, and helps you resolve problems quickly.
On top of that, the card also has an eCommerce Protector, which covers your online shopping purchases up to USD1,000 so you can shop with peace of mind. This includes incomplete delivery or delivery of the wrong item, improper functioning due to physical damage to delivered items, and non-delivery of purchases after 30 days of the scheduled delivery.
You can look forward to HSBC TravelOne Credit Card's launch event happening at Mid Valley Megamall from 22 May to 4 June
It will feature some exciting activities:
- Malaysia Book of Records – Largest Travel Pass Replica
- Interactive LED backdrop featuring up to 168 travel destinations you can be transported to
