Perodua has slashed prices across the entire Axia lineup, with the biggest reduction of RM4,700 applied to the entry-level 1.0G variant

The new prices take effect immediately.

In Peninsular Malaysia, the Axia 1.0G now starts from just RM33,900, down from RM38,600, reinforcing its position as Malaysia's cheapest passenger car at a time when many buyers are keeping a close eye on their spending.

Perodua said the reductions were achieved entirely through operational efficiencies, without compromising the car's specifications or quality.

Its president and CEO Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said the "new pricing is part of our continuous effort to reduce the cost pressures faced by Malaysians".

He added that the move builds on earlier cost-saving efforts, including reduced servicing charges and lower prices for the QV-E model and its Battery as a Service (BaaS) package.

Zainal Abidin thanked Perodua's suppliers and dealer network for helping drive the cost efficiencies, adding that the Axia remains the company's answer to keeping car ownership affordable for more Malaysians.
