Experience an awesome #throwback to the glory days of the '90s at RIUH this weekend!
RIUH is a curated creative platform that hosts monthly events to bring together cool, artisanal brands, tons of yummy food, fun, creative workshops, and awesome live acts, all under one roof.
Since its launch last year, RIUH has aimed to put Kuala Lumpur on the creative map and further enhance the creative industry in Malaysia.
If you've never been to RIUH before, now's the perfect time to start, so take note of all event deets below

1. Enjoy mouth-watering munchies from a multitude of food vendors
Whether you're in the mood for hearty local fare, unique Insta-worthy creations, something decadent and sinful, or something light and healthy, you'll find it all at RIUH!
2. Browse and shop for artisanal goods from over 40 brands
The various pop-up stalls will each be carrying their own range of unique items, ranging from fashionable clothes for men, women, and kids, accessories, batik, and leather goods, to homeware, plants, healthy snacks, tea, cookies, as well as social enterprises.
3. Take part in creative workshops that are fun for all ages
90s Tie-Dye Workshop by Shaqira Ramli
What's more 90s than colourful, tie-dyed t-shirts? Relive the popular trend by learning how to make your own using Shibori tie-dye techiques from Shaqira, the founder of Bohomys, a lifestyle concept store in Subang Jaya. All materials will be provided and you'll even get a free t-shirt once you buy a ticket.

A Tale That Must Be Told : Macbeth
In collaboration with KL Shakespeare Players, this interactive storytelling experience uses action and live music to present the story of Macbeth. Both you and your little ones will have a blast taking part in important scenes like the battle between the royal forces and the rebels, a banquet, the seduction of the witches, and a dance.

Community Acting Class : Chakra Techniques
Learn how to use the flow of chakra energy to influence your acting abilities with Amina Jindani (Moone), an actor, presenter, director, producer, and educator in drama with over 30 years of experience.

RIUH is also proud to be collaborating with FTalent in spearheading #JOMTEATER, a movement to create more awareness on the performing arts
#JOMTEATER is an on-ground platform for the performing arts industry to gain more visibility where production companies can market their shows, sell tickets, and showcase theatre practitioners.
It is also a mentoring platform where performing arts-themed community workshops are hosted for the community to gather, grow and have fun.
This month, #JOMTEATER will feature shows by more than three production companies, and there'll be a booth at RIUH where you can find out more and buy tickets.
5. Get swept up in the '90s vibe by watching themed live performances from local talents
OAG is THE legendary Malaysian indie band of the 90's. Formed back in 1992, they were one of the first English language alternative rock bands in Malaysia to get huge attention from mainstream music listeners.
RIUH is also collaborating with Encore Melaka to bring an element of culture to their performance lineup. Soak in the thrilling beats of the Drums by Encore and the elegance of the Nyonya Dance by Encore. These serve as previews to their full 70-minute showcase now showing at the state-of-the-art Encore Melaka venue.

The members of 2Twenty2 Studio, an award-winning dance crew, will be performing to 90's hip-hop and showcasing some breakdancing that defined the 90's era around the globe.
Treat your ears to the powerful vocals of talented local singers Leaism, Yasher, and Tasha Aleia (pictured above, from left to right), who will each be bringing their own unique flavour to the stage to pay tribute to 90's.

6. Join in on exciting street activities and play your favourite childhood games
BAD LAB will be bringing its BAD LAB Mobile to RIUH, which includes exciting street activities such as graffiti demonstrations, a grooming station, product giveaways, a leather jacket contest (yes, you stand a chance to win a BAD LAB leather jacket!), and special appearances.
They will also be showcasing the BAD LAB Gang of Four which consists of graffiti masters, Cloakwork, Katun, Shade and Dmojo - some of which will be demonstrating the art of live graffiti painting. Oh, and did you know that BAD stands for Brave and Daring?
At the same time, don't forget to grab this chance to play all your favourite '90s childhood games again! There's gonna be teng-teng, getah, batu Seremban, yo-yo and more.
