Located in Seberang Jaya, Penang, Sunway Carnival Mall has been around for 15 years, becoming a household name in the state and a go-to mall for Penangites. In June this year, they launched their new expansion wing, offering more brands and a new shopping experience for all.
And for Christmas, they've gone all out with their decorations, creating a spellbinding setting that will stun and impress everyone who sees it.
Step into the heart of Sunway Carnival Mall, and you'll find yourself in a whimsical enchanted forest
Upon entering this magical place where fairies live, you'll be greeted with the chirping and symphony of songbirds. Inside, you can take Insta-worthy photos of you and your loved ones with the neon fairy wings left by the fairies; and you will be transformed into a fairy yourself too!
As you wander through, you'll be surrounded by the guardians of the enchanted forest — larger-than-life flowers and trees, lush wisteria blooms and foliage, deer, butterflies, and honeybees. A very special mushroom named Pretty Pointy, a gorgeous mushroom that spreads love wherever it goes, also awaits you.
In the depths of the forest hide 40 luminous glowing boxes of hope, which signify the magic of giving, and most importantly, inspire hope in each and every one of us. These pre-loved cakeboxes were collected and repurposed into decorations, demonstrating Sunway Malls sustainability efforts.
They hope that this humble act of theirs can encourage and motivate the public to repurpose their waste with just a little creativity.
And the pièce de résistance is the sentinel of the forest, a tall and mighty 35ft Christmas tree!
Psstt... the forest also hides a special secret. Explore further and look out for the magical doorway. Gently knock on the door, and once it opens, step into the sacred realm to discover the illuminated fairy forest that hides safely inside the Christmas tree, waiting to be explored.
