This Raya Video is Dedicated to All Our Frontliners And It Will Bring You To Tears
Hari Raya may look different this year, but it's never meant more.
Every year, we look forward to watching those funny, heartwarming Raya ads, but things certainly are different this time around
Instead of our usual balik kampung journeys, most of us will be spending Hari Raya away from our hometown and loved ones. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean we can't celebrate and make the most of this festive season.
Telekom Malaysia (TM) just released their Raya video and it highlights how things have changed this festive season and how Malaysians have stepped up to face the challenge. Watch the video below:
But first, you may want to grab some tissues 'cause it's a real tearjerker.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Movement Control Order (MCO) in the last few months, many people's lives have been affected, especially those who are working tirelessly on the frontlines.
Despite this, Malaysians have stepped up and remained resilient to face this pandemic. While the way we live, work, and celebrate has changed, we have all embraced the 'new normal' together. TM's Raya video capture moments of Malaysians at our best and inspires us to keep going during this festive season.
The video highlights the past two months of our 'new normal' in a series of powerful images and videos
From the way we work and get around, to the changes and sacrifices we've each had to make, TM's Hari Raya ad beautifully sums up what life in Malaysia has looked like during the two months of Movement Control Order (MCO).
Seeing all of our frontliners putting their lives at risk day after day definitely makes us appreciate them so much more
No one has given of their time and effort as much as our frontliners. From police officers and medical staff, to cleaners and food delivery riders, their contribution has allowed us to maintain our daily lives. Thank you so much, frontliners!
One cool thing about this Raya ad is how it features everyday Malaysian families and real people that are making a difference
The video showcases cute and heartwarming shots of families all over Malaysia keeping themselves busy throughout the MCO by cooking, working out, and doing activities together as they #StayAtHome. <3
While this Hari Raya may be different, this video inspires us to find new ways to celebrate this meaningful season with our loved ones
TM wishes all Malaysians Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir & batin
